Cristina Vallejo Abad, member of the GENERIZA project team, has received the Master’s Thesis Award for her research “Childhood, Gender and Cooperation. Telas para el Kambio: A Development Project for Girls in Mozambique”, conducted within the framework of the Master’s Degree in International Development Cooperation at the University of Valencia.

The award was presented on 19 September 2023 by the Vice-Rector for Sustainability, Cooperation and Healthy Life of the University of Valencia, in the category of Social and Legal Sciences, under the academic supervision of Awatef Ketiti.

Among other criteria, the evaluation committee highlighted the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the gender perspective in both the research and the implementation of the project carried out by the student in Mozambique.
