Dr. Alfonso Narváez has carried out a stay, funded by a Margarita Salas contract, at the prestigious Centre of Excellence in Mycotoxicology and Public Health, at the University of Ghent, Belgium under the direction of Dr. Marthe de Boevre.

Dr. Alfonso Narváez has worked during this period studying the relationship between mycotoxin exposure and patients with renal failure after transplantation.
