Dr Zingales participates in International Day of Women and Girls in Science as part of the University of Milan's Global Women's Breakfast
Dr. Veronica Zingales, a member of the RiskTox research group, participated in the online scientific breakfast meeting “Women in Alternatives: One Science for 3Rs”, organized within the framework of the Global Women’s Breakfast 2026 and on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
The session was chaired by Prof. Francesca Caloni (Università degli Studi di Milano) and featured Dr. Isabella De Angelis and Dr. Veronica Zingales as discussants, who addressed the role of alternative methods and the 3Rs principles (Reduce, Refine, Replace) in promoting more ethical, responsible, and innovative science.
The participation provided an opportunity to share RiskTox’s experience and scientific approach in the field of toxicology and risk assessment, contributing to the discussion on more sustainable research strategies and to highlighting the role of women in science.
