The Classroom of Entrepeneurship in Social and Sustainable Economics gathers activities to promote and ease entrepeneurship in social economics as well as sustainability in that matter.
The initiative comes from a group of Universitat de València professors. To further develop its actions, Aula Empresocial finds funding in both public and private sectors, which provides a larger reach, allows to consolidate its activities and stablishes synergies with institutions, companies and organisations of the social economy ecosystem.
The Social Economics model can greatly contribute to sustainability needs that many entrepeneurs consider nowadays, particularly among the younger ones. Even with other initiative that also seek to ease or promote entrepeneurship, Aula Empresocial focuses on an innovative modality of entrepeneurship with socially responsible and sustainable traits for all three aspects: social, economic and environmental. With the eyes on the Sustainable Development Objectives (SDO), innovation to generate sustainable companies is the goal.
From a legal, fical and economic perspective, activities of training, research and scientific dissemination take place in order to make potential entrepeneurs and public policy makers more knowledgable about these innovative companies.
Aiming to promote entrepeneurship with the values of social economy, sustainability and cooperation via training activities, conferences, publications and meetings with educational centres and territory agents, Aula Empresocial promotes the entrepeneuring culture with purpose, social committment and actual impact.
