
Denia, 9 May 2025 – The training conference 'Emprender por la Economía Social' ('Entrepeneurship for he Social Economy') took place at IES Maria Ibars, Denia, corresponding to the first cycle of the EmprendeES programme with an initiative funded by Generlitat Valenciana to bring closer the transforming vision of entrepeneurship based on social economyh values to students.
This conference was postponned fue to a blackout on its original date and had an excellent participation by students who have valued positively the content and dynamic and inspiring format of the meeting.
Morning speakers:
- Antonia Sajardo, professor of Applied Economics at Universitat de València presented the programme Aula Empresocial and explained what it meant to become an entrepeneur for social economy.

Pilar Alguacil, full-time professor of Finance and Tax Law provided s conference on company formats of social economy.

Enrique J. Pastor, from EYML, shared his experience as a true entrepeneur with social impact.

Andrea Rey, lead an interactive activity in which students reflected on chalenges and opportunities for entrepeneurship with sustainability and participation.
The conference moderators were Antonia Sajardo and Andrea Rey and it lies within the frame of the Aula Empresocial – UVemprén that will keep visiting education centres of the Valencian Community for 2025 to promote entrepeneurship culture that is fairer and more inclusive and socially committed.
