New free MOOC in Cooperative Entrepreneurship

The MOOC is aimed at students or professionals interested in entrepreneurship. Those who enrol in the MOOC will study how to start their own cooperative business, which nowadays represent the most relevant business figure of Social Economics on a global scale.

Through this five-week online training programme, you will learn everything you need to set up and manage your own cooperative, from how to create one to its legal, labour and fiscal laws.

The MOOC is funded by Santander Universidades and UVemprén.

CONTENT OF THE COURSE

  • 1st Module: Introduction to the cooperative sector. Antonia Sajardo: associate professor in Applied Economics.
  • 2nd Module: Creating a cooperative. Alicia Mas: associate professor in Business Management. Andrea Rey: ESIC Business & Marketing School professor.
  • 3rd Module: Cooperative creation and laws. Lola Folgado: manager from the FEVECTA Legal Department.
  • 4th Module: Labour laws for cooperatives. Manuel Alegre: associate professor in Labour and Social Security Law.
  • 5th Module: Fiscal laws for cooperatives. Pilar Alguacil: Lecturer of Financial Law and History of Law.
