Mislata, 12 May 2025 – IES El Vaig Molí in Mislata held the penultimate cycle for 'Emprender por la Economía Social' ('Entrepeneurship for he Social Economy'), a programme promoted by Universitat de València via Aula Empresocial – UVemprén project, funded by Generalitat Valenciana.
The conference was well received by the highscool, its students participated with great interest.
Mornng intervention programme:
- Antonia Sajardo, professor of Applied Economics (UV), opened the conference with a introduction of Aula Empresocial project and her reflection on what it means to become an entrepeneur of social economy.
- Pilar Alguacil, full-time professor of Finance and Tax Law (UV), talked about the company formats in social economy.
- Helga Figueroa, from Koira Canine Centre, and CELI, from Okambuva Coop. V., shared their experience with collective entrepeneurship with social impact.
- Teresa Puchol, with a PhD in Law, brought an interactive activity to promote the values of participation of students while tackling on challenges and values of social entrepeneurship.
The conference was moderated by Teresa Puchol and Antonia Sajardo and took place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The activity is a part of the EmprendreES first conference cycle that will end in the next days after visiting educational centres of Valencian Community while promoting a new way to understand entrepeneurship with sustainability, equity and cooperation.
