PRIDA collective. Lecturers of the Universitat de València, with no/little experience in the use of lateral thinking techniques in their teaching methodologies.
Selection criteria

Participants will be selected according to the following criteria:
- For those courses that have specific requirements, it must be verified that the applicants actually meet them.
- Preference will be given to requests from applicants who have not taken courses with similar characteristics in the last three years.
- Likewise, preference will be given to those who have not participated in any training courses in the last three years.
- In the event of a tie between applicants when applying the above criteria, strict adherence to the order of submission of the applications (date and time of submission) will be required.

Training objectives

- To undesrtand the cornerstones of creative thinking for problem-solving.

- To practice different techniques of lateral thinking, contextualised in different teaching cases. In particular, braining, decomposition and analogy techniques will be practised.

 

Contents

Creativity and lateral thinking

Braining techniques, such as brainswarming, scamper or 365

Analogy techniques, such as treasure, tattoo, forced connections or bionics.

Decomposition techniques, such as 6 thinking huts or sustainability pyramid.

Collaborative workshops and reflection groups.

 

Competencies to be developed

- Teaching active methodologiesfocused on braining/decomposition/analogy lateral thinking techniques.
