The University of Valencia held the award ceremony for the 2025 Manuel Castillo Awards tomorrow June 26, 2026.
Established to recognize outstanding contributions in the fields of cooperation, solidarity, development, and peace, the Manuel Castillo Awards honour work carried out in both academic and journalistic contexts.
The ceremony took place in the Rectorate Assembly Hall and was attended by the Rector, members of the academic community, award recipients, and representatives of civil society. The event highlighted the University of Valencia’s ongoing commitment to promoting human rights and global justice.
