Object
The international volunteering grants are intended to facilitate the mobility of undergraduate and master’s students from the University of Valencia to carry out volunteer activities or internships in priority countries for development cooperation.
Applications
The deadline for applications is 9 September 2026.
The applications will be submitted via the “Electronic Registry” of the University of Valencia. In the "General" tab, the options to complete are:
- Type of organ: Serveis universitaris, generals i centrals
- Addressed body: Servei de Relacions Internacionals i Cooperació
- Requested process: Unit-specific processes
- Select: Cooperation volunteering
The documentation to be provided with the application is the following:
- Application form (annex III). The work plan should be detailed and duly signed by the host organization and the master/degree coordinator.
- Copy of ID or passport.
- Third-party registration form electronically signed.
- Supporting documentation of the claimed merit.
Payment and Justification
1. A first payment corresponding to 50% of the total amount of the grant will be made when the student joins the host institution and once the duly signed arrival certificate (Annex V) has been sent to coop@uv.es.
2. A second payment corresponding to the remaining 50% will be made once the stay has finished and the final report (Annex VI) has been submitted, together with the following documentation, within 15 days from the end of the volunteering period.
The grant reporting should be submitted within 15 days from the end of the volunteering stay. It will consist of the above-mentioned final report and the following documentation:
a) Airplane tickets and boarding passes. The cost must be justified with an invoice or a bank or card statement showing the corresponding charge.
b) Invoice for the purchase of medical insurance.
