Final assessment
The results of the 2024-25 academic year reinforce the Erasmus+ Internship programme at the University of Valencia as a powerful tool for academic and professional development. The the wide range of destinations, the diversity of participation types and host institutions, as well as the strong representation of women, demonstrate a programme that is increasingly inclusive, balanced, and effective.
In the words of the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Multilingualism, Carles Padilla Carmona: “Alongside the more than 2,000 students who each year move to a European university for an Erasmus Studies programme, an increasing number are also choosing the Erasmus internship grant in order to complement their studies and gain international professional experience that will significantly enhance their employability and expand their network of contacts”.
The programme is now preparing to continue this growth trend in 2025-26.
