This strategic project, which will be undertaken by the consortium made up of the companies, Juan y Juan Industrial S.L.U (Vicky Foods Group), and Bionos Biotech S.L, together with the University of Valencia

Main scientific-technological objective to investigate a new sustainable system for the production of natural sweeteners of biological origin from lichen microalgae.

This new production system will allow the production of sweetening polyols, with great potential for replacing sugars and other artificial sweeteners in pastry and bakery food products.

Financed by the Comunitat Valenciana Program – European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) for a total of €149,964.40.
