Since the eighties of the last century, the Huerta de Valencia has been suffering territorial, economic and social degradation, due to the lack of commercial profitability of the products produced there and the urban pressure of the cities and industrial areas in which it is immersed. Public entities are promoting countless initiatives to recover this anthropogenic environment, but the desired objective is not achieved, because agriculture, the main economic activity, does not allow to obtain a decent economic livelihood for farmers, who are the main architects in the design of this territory. SAiFRESC presents an agroecological model that has made a transition from conventional agriculture to organic agriculture, which aims to be a real example that agriculturally, socially and economically it is possible that farmers can return to live in and from the Huerta de Valencia.
