The Generalitat contributes 30,000 euros to research

The Plenary of the Consell has approved today the collaboration agreement between the Conselleria de Agricultura, Desarrollo Rural, Emergencia Climática y Transición Ecológica and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) to articulate the granting of an aid of 30,000 euros for research on forest fire prevention.

The grant from the Generalitat to the CSIC is destined to the research project 'Scientific bases to increase resilience to fires in Valencian ecosystems: phase III. Follow-up of the research work'.

The purpose of the agreement is also to define the terms of collaboration between the Generalitat and the CIDE-CSIC, to provide a scientific basis on the resilience of Valencian ecosystems to fires.
