It consists of the integration of hydrology, hydraulic engineering and computer science to solve the challenges associated with water resources management. To this end, advanced physical modeling tools, data analysis and artificial intelligence are used to simulate hydrological processes. All this is analyzed from the point of view of water quantity and quality, promoting sustainability and resilience to challenges such as climate change, increased water demands and changes in land use in the basins under study.
