The doctoral programme in Advanced Hispanic Studies by the University of Valencia has been assessed positively, according to that established in the article 10 of the RD 99/2011, 28 January by the ANECA, on 4 July 2013.

   The doctoral programme in Advanced Hispanic Studies is the transformation of the doctoral programme with the same name (RD 1393/2007), authorised by the Valencian University Board and of Higher Education and informed favourably by the Evaluation and Foresight Valencian Agency (AVAP), and has been verified by the University Board and authorised by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, according to the decree 165/2011 on 4 November. This programme is the continuation of the doctorate in Advanced Spanish Studies, supplied with quality mention (MCD 2006-00578) that, in turn, came from the fusion, transformation and extension of both quality doctorates which existed previously in the Department of Spanish Philology of the University of Valencia: Spanish, Latin-American, Portuguese Theatre and Literature, and Literary Theory (Quality Mention MCD-2003/00025) and Hispanic linguistic and philological studies (Quality Mention MCD-2005/00267). This doctoral programme in Advanced Hispanic Studies, counted on the renewal of the quality mention (MCD 2006-00578), according to the Resolution of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, 20-10-2008.
