El dimarts 14 d’octubre de 2025, a les 18 hores, la Capella del Centre Cultural La Nau acollirà la Jornada Fortuny, una trobada d’experts que té lloc amb motiu de la presentació d’un nou llibre dedicat a l’artista. L’entrada és lliure fins a completar aforament.

The programme includes four lectures by leading specialists:

• 6:00 p.m. – Fortuny Unnoticed or the Glimpsed Modernity, by Francesc Quílez Corella, Head of the Cabinet of Drawings and Prints at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya and curator of the Fortuny Year.

• 6:30 p.m. – Fortuny and his Influence on Valencian Painting, with Rafael Gil Salinas, Professor of Art History at the University of Valencia.

• 7:00 p.m. – Fortuny and the Circles of Artistic Sociability in the 19th Century, by Ester Alba Pagán, Vice-Rector for Culture and Society and Associate Professor in the Department of Art History at the University of Valencia.

• 7:30 p.m. – Fortuny, Pioneer of Textile Collecting, by María Roca Cabrera, Postdoctoral Researcher.

The event will conclude at 8:00 p.m. with a roundtable discussion with the speakers.
