The aim of this Master's degree is the multidisciplinary training specialised in the field of neurosciences, facilitating the acquisition of conceptual and technical tools in order to understand and to address the study of nervous system, both normal and pathological, and their interactions with other systems such as the endocrine or the immune system. The master's aim that students learn the different levels of neural processing, from molecular through systems processes, and their relation with the behaviour, cognition and emotion, as well as the nature of the alterations that cause pathologies and dysfunctions, in a way that they can apply the acquired competences to the research work, either in the field of biology, psychology or biomedicine. The critical spirit, the scientific rigour, the methodological training and the ability to communicate in neuroscientific topics will be promoted by taking into account at all times the students training in the ethical and social values of equality, respect and democracy.
