The Doctoral programme in Neurosciences covers an area of knowledge. In fact, the Spanish Parliament, has declared 2012 as the Neuroscience Year in Spain. Within the field of Biomedicine, the Neuroscience occupies a prominent place, for example, the research challenge that suppose neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer or Parkinson which suppose and important human and material effort.

In the human aspect the training of scientists highly qualified that cover the postdoctoral places, which the research teams will offer in the coming years, will be necessary. Regardless of employability in other research centres, the great part of research centres of the city of Valencia have groups of research in Neurosciences and that also participate in this proposal of doctoral studies.
