ACTIVITY: Applications of research techniques
4.1.1. BASIC INFORMATION 50 HOURS
Description
This activity is about sessions in which the students will make resolutions of practical classes, study cases…, with the application of techniques, oral presentations, including the presentation of the thesis project, the thesis progresses, the presentation of papers in scientific conferences, and the development of an article individually or in team.
Time planning: Full-time and part-time student: 2nd semester, first annuity.
Teaching language: Spanish

4.1.2. ADAPTATION PROCEDURE
Completion of exercises, text commentaries and study of practical cases.
Publication of at least one article in an indexed journal specialised in the area of Social Economy, Cooperatives and Entrepreneurship, as the journals: CIRIEC-España, Revista de Economía Pública, Social y Cooperativa; CIRIEC-España, Revista Jurídica de Economía Pública, Social y Cooperativa and REVESCO, Revista de Estudios Cooperativos, or a scientific paper in a regular and international scientific congress with a selection committee of papers.
Presentation of the research proposal that the student wants to develop in the doctoral thesis before a group of professors of the Doctoral Studies and experts in the subject matter.
The CAD of the Doctoral studies will organise the development of such presentations.

ACTIVITY: Monitored autonomous work
4.1.1 BASIC DATA 70 HOURS
DESCRIPTION
The monitored autonomous work will be based in the reading and assessment of reports, completion of exercises and/or projects individually and/or team. Attendance to tutorials.
Attendance of at least a seminar with scientific content linked with the research lines of the Doctoral Studies organised by the IUDESCOOP Institute and where will participate it professors outside the University of Valencia, prioritizing the foreign universities of prestige in the topic to teach. The CCD of the Doctoral Studies will validate and/or organise this seminar for the purpose of academic computing.

Teaching language: Spanish. 

4.1.2. ADAPTATION PROCEDURE
Completion of exercises, commentaries of texts and practical cases related to the contents of the module that will be assessed. Likewise, the student will make a report of activities.

ACTIVITY: Research stay
4.1.1. BASIC DATA 400 HOURS
DESCRIPTION
To make a research stay through the student mobility programmes in other national or international research centre other than the centre where the student is doing the doctoral studies. During that stay, the student will research on the subject under study.
To participate in student mobility programmes through stays of at least 1 month duration in research centres with which the responsible body of the Doctoral Studies in Social Economy maintains a relationship, especially in centres belonging to ENUIES networks (at national level) and RULESCOOP (at international level).
Time planning: Full-time and Part-time students: During three-five years.
Teaching language: Spanish.

4.1.2. ADAPTATION PROCEDURE
The professor of the host centre should elaborate a brief report about the student’s progress during the stay.

4.1.3. ACTIONS OF MOBILITY
The CCD of the Doctoral Studies will provide to the student the list and the access to other national and international research centres in Social Economy, Cooperatives and Entrepreneurship.

ACTIVITY: Optional complementary activities
4.1.1. BASIC DATA 30 HOURS
DESCRIPTION
Attendance to other non-compulsory seminars that deal with research in Social Economics, Cooperatives and Entrepreneurship taught in the University of Valencia or in other national and international universities connected with the field of research.
Time planning: Full-time and part-time students: During three-five years.
Teaching language: Spanish.

Presentation of a summary Report to the tutor.
