Biography
 

Degree in Physics, PhD from the University of Göttingen (Germany) in 2008. Postdoctoral positions in Germany and Portugal in the following years. Since 2010, part of the IPL in the Universitat de València.

Associate teacher at UV since 2021 in the Department of Electronics Engineering at the ETSE.

Main research activity in the aerospace instrumentation area, in scientific definition and analysis of data, and in simulations of development and performance of observation instruments. Involved since 2010 in several research projects, mainly in the international missions SUNRISE, Solar Orbiter and VIGIL.

Biography
 

Born in Valencia. He studied Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Valencia, earning a Master's degree in Medical Physics and a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering.

He developed his professional career as a technician for hospital life support equipment.

He currently works as a research support technician in the DSDC group at the University of Valencia. He is involved in projects related to new electromagnetic shielding materials and their electromagnetic characterization, as well as the development of new shielding measurement techniques.

He has been an associate professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering since 2021.

Biography
 

Pedro A. Martínez was born in Albatera (Alicante), Spain, in 1979. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electronic Engineering from the University of Valencia in 2012 and is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering at the same institution. Between 2012 and 2016, he served as a Research Assistant with the Design of Communication and Digital Systems Research Group at the University of Valencia. Since 2016, he has been carrying out his research activity as a Research Assistant at the EMC Chair, University of Valencia–Würth Elektronik eiSos. Since 2017, he has been serving as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at the University of Valencia. His research interests focus on the advanced characterization of electromagnetic shielding materials.

Biography
 

Víctor Solera Sendra obtained the degree in Electronic Engineering of Telecommunications and the Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Since 2023, he has been working as a research support technician at the EMC WE-UV Chair.
His research generally focuses on electromagnetic compatibility and thermal management for electronic devices.

Research Line:

  • Characterization of materials for electromagnetic shielding and thermal management.

  • Development of simulations in the field of electromagnetic compatibility using full-wave 3D software (ANSYS HFSS/Q3D).

  • Development of digital twins to study their thermal behavior using computational fluid dynamics software (ANSYS ICEPAK).
