This year, she is the scientist in our ‘you can also be...’ section of the Experimenta 2025 Fair-Competition rules.
This year we dedicate our traditional section of the participation basis to ANNE L'HUILLIER, professor of atomic physics at the University of Lund (Sweden) of French origin. Her experimental work on ultra-brief light pulses, such as attosecond flashes, which make it possible to follow the movement of electrons in real time and understand chemical reactions at the atomic level, won her the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2023.
The Experimenta Fair aims to promote the practice of science and technology and its dissemination by involving secondary school students hands-on, with a focus on the active participation of women in these STEM fields. Aware of the importance of references, for years we have included in our BASIS OF PARTICIPATION the section ‘YOU CAN ALSO BE....’ dedicated to publicise a multitude of women scientists and technologists who have developed research, patents, prototypes in many interesting areas and with great social repercussions.
