On 1 October, the Department of French and Italian Philology will host FIDEL·LIA, a research day aimed at third- and fourth-year students in Modern Languages and Literatures and Translation and Interlinguistic Mediation, as well as master's students interested in getting started in research.
Throughout the day, faculty members will present their research areas in Literature, Linguistics and Translation, and will share possible topics and pathways for developing a final-year undergraduate project, a master's thesis or a future doctoral dissertation.
The programme will also include a round table on how research begins and, in the afternoon, contributions from former students of the Department, who will share their experiences of carrying out their undergraduate and master's research projects.
