The Department of Geography and the College of Geographers of Valencia collaborate in the organization of the Olympics of Geography, endorsed by the University of Valencia.
By Geography Olympics we suggest a closer relationship between Secondary Education and the University, offer substantial prizes to the winners, both students and their schools and enjoy a day of friendly coexistence.
The Olympics are organized by the University of Valencia and you can also find information on the Association of Geographers. This test, which consists of a high number of multiple choice questions, is aimed at students in second year of high school. The local phase is always in the Faculty of Geography and History from the University of Valencia, and the winners advance to the national stage that each year is based on a different Spanish university.
