During the month of July, Ana Hernández, Inés Tomás and Clara Cuevas presented papers at two international conferences: the ITC Congress in Granada, Spain; and the IMPS in Prague, Czech Republic.
At these conferences, the latest advances in methodology and psychometrics were presented, and not only were some results of the project “Improving data quality in applied psychological research: prevention and management of careless responding (CR) through items with response instructions” presented, but they also met researchers from other universities working on similar topics and with whom they have established collaborative relationships.
The papers that were presented were the following:
- Can we predict CR? The role of sociodemographic variables. Clara Cuevas, Inés Tomás, Ana Hernández, Vicente González-Romá & Anna Brown.
- CR: trait or state? Inés Tomás, Ana Hernández, Vicente González-Romá, Anna Brown & Clara Cuevas.
- Identifying predictors of careless responding trajectories over time. Inés Tomás, Ana Hernández, Vicente González-Romá, Clara Cuevas & Anna Brown.
