ASI (Software and Informatics Advisory)

The Software and Informatics Advisory Service (ASI) is a service offered to Idocal members.

It is provided by Isabel Rodríguez, secretary of the Idocal and professor of Social Psychology (Work and Organizations) at the University of Valencia.

It is a resource for consultation on questions related to the use of some programs / resources of the University on which she has offered various courses: Moodle (virtual classroom), LimeSurvey, Microsoft Teams, Refworks, Mendeley, bibliographic databases, videoconference programs , etc. Likewise, you can consult some topics related to the use of the computer (PC-Windows).

Please keep in mind that Isabel Rodríguez is not a computer scientist, but her experience can help you solve some problems. If what you have is an incident (for example, problems recovering your password or access errors), you will have to contact the University's IT service (through the CAU: requests.uv.es).

Initially, the service is offered 2 hours / week in online mode through Microsoft Teams (for which it is necessary to have an account in this application). There are 4 blocks of 30 minutes each (11.30-12.00; 12.00-12.30; 12.30-13.00; 13.00-0-13.30). You can reserve a block of time to make your inquiry each time you access the reservation page.

The operation of the service is very simple. If you want to use it, you will have to follow the following steps:

  1. Select the day and time in the calendar below
  2. Indicate the requested details: name and email. You will have to make a brief description of your query.
  3. Check the email before connecting in case there is an incident, and the appointment has to be canceled at the last minute.

The advisory service will be provided on the date and block requested through Microsoft Teams.
