The Methodological Advisory Service (SAM) is a resource on methodological issues related to data analysis, research design, and the measurement of variables, among other topics.
The service is provided by Vicente González-Romá.
He is Professor of Social Psychology (Work and Organizations) at the University of Valencia. He was previously Associate Professor of Methodology of the Behavioral Sciences. He has been Editor-in-chief (2008-2011) and Associate Editor (2005-2008) of the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology (EJWOP), and Associate Editor (2014-2020) of the Journal of Applied Psychology (JAP). He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Management, JAP, and EJWOP. His research works have been published in scientific journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Work & Stress, Leadership Quarterly, Multivariate Behavioral Research, Organization Research Methods, and Structural Equation Modeling.
The service is offered 1 hour/week in online mode through Microsoft Teams (for this reason, it is necessary to have an account in this application). In each hour there are 3 blocks of 20 minutes each. A user can reserve a block of time to make their query each time they access the reservation page.
The operation of the service is very simple. If you want to use it, you will have to follow these steps:
- In the calendar shown below, select the day and time to make your query.
- Indicate the details that are requested. You will have to indicate your name, email, and telephone (it will only be used if the service had to be canceled unexpectedly), and make a brief description of your query.
The advisory service will be provided on the requested date and block through Microsoft Teams.
