Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Valencia Member of the IDOCAL research institute and senior researcher of the IVIE. Member of the Spanish Academy of Psychology. Director of the Interuniversity PhD Program on Human Resources Psychology (U. Sevilla and U. Valencia). Past-President of ENOP and Former president of IAAP and EAWOP. Doctor Honoris Causa by the University Miguel Hernandez (Elche, Spain) and by the Methodist University of São Paulo. He has been awarded the Aristotle Prizeby the EFPA(2015), the Advanced International Research and Service Awardby the ICP (2013), the Life time awardof EAWOP (2013) and the ‘José L. Pinillos’ award to the excellence and Innovation in Psychology (2016) by Psicofundación (Spain). Golden Medal of the Spanish Council of Industrial Relations and Work sciences and Fellow member of SIOP and EAOH. His research focuses mainly on occupational stress, wellbeing and performance at the individual and collective levels. He also carries on research on team and organizational climate and culture of organizations and on work socialization, labor market entry and unemployment.

I obtained in 1995 the title of graduate in Psychology at the Universitat de València and in 2000 the title of Doctor in Psychology Psychology at the University of Valencia, (apt cum laude and P.E.).

In the year 2002, I obtained a position as Associate Professor.

My work as a researcher is part of the Research Unit of Work Psychology and Organizations (UIPOT) that has been integrated into the Research Institute in Psychology of Human Resources, Organizational Development and Quality of Work. Labor Life (IDOCAL), founded in 2008.

Throughout my academic career I have participated in various research projects, including the project Psychological contracts across employment situations (PSYCONES). Project funded by the Fifth Framework Program of the European Union. www.uv.es/~psycon In this project I specialize in the study of job insecurity, a topic that will leave many of the publications I have made.

I have also participated in different research projects funded by different official bodies. I am currently investigating in the project "New challenges in the study of work well-being in the scenario of exit from the crisis, international study of the quality of employment, personal, generational and socio-cultural factors".
 The results of these projects are specified in numerous presentations to scientific congresses, both national and international, in publications in journals and in different book chapters.

Biography
 

Associate Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology at the University of Valencia, and Vice-Coordinator at this University of the Erasmus Mundus Master in Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P). She is a member of the Research Institute of Human Resource Psychology, Organizational Development, and Quality of Working Life (IDOCAL). Her research topics include work stress, burnout, and leadership and has been published in international scientific journals such as International Journal of Stress ManagementCross Cultural Management: An International Journal; Anxiety, Stress, and CopingJournal of Occupational Health Psychology, etc. She has coordinated a project about work stress and has directed several doctoral theses.

Biography
 

Núria Tordera Santamatilde has a doctorate in psychology and is a senior lecturer at the Social Psychology Department at the University of Valencia. She teaches undergraduate and graduate classes, mainly in organizational psychology, and is co-director of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) in Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P). She is also participating in other postgraduate programs such as the International Joint Master in research in Work and Organizational Psychology (IJRWOP), the Master in Human Resource Management, and the doctoral program in Psychology of Human Resources. Within the Unit of Work and Organizational Psychology and Human Resources, she has participated in various research projects. She occasionally collaborates doing research in other research centers. She has published in various Spanish and international scientific journals (eg. Journal of Applied Psychology, Psychology, and Health; European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology; European Psychologist; Journal of Health and Social Behavior). Her areas of interest mainly lie in the analysis of organizational climate and leadership, service quality, the study of well-being and quality of work-life, and age and work.
