The last session of the 2025 UV Welcome ceremony has been this 28 October at the Burjassot Campus. Four days in which the services and units of the Universitat de València and the students associations have been at the UV campuses to inform students about the initiatives that they have prepared for the 2025-2026 academic year, all of these with a great atmosphere, music and orxata.

With this session at the Burjassot Campus, the 2025 UV Welcome ceremony finishes. This event, in words of Marcos Durá, who is the principal’s for Students Delegate ‘is more than just a symbolic event for the start of the academic year, it is a way to get to know the university services and the students associations’ it is a Welcome ‘for students’. Moreover, as it takes place in spaces of the campus ‘the information is closer and more useful’, and he has highlighted that ‘it has a huge involvement of the Sedi, the associations and the staff of services, and that can be noticed’. Durá has also said that this initiative, it has a promotion component because ‘this year, in which we have students elections, it enables students to know some associations, to get involved and see that they can participate actively in university life’. The Delegate for students sees clearly that UV’s Welcome helps ‘the UV that we all want: vivid, participative and present in all the campuses’.

The UV Welcome session at Burjassot Campus was rescheduled due to the meteorological situation of last 14 October. It has brought together ETSE students and students of the Faculties of Biological Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Pharmacy and Food Sciences, Physics and Chemistry. Great greeting of a UV Welcome more informative and completely for university students

Student attendance at the four UV Welcome days has been very high, and the reception, according to Marcos Durá's assessment, has been very good.  'Since the model was reformulated into a participatory format spread across the campuses, the change has been noticeable,' he asserted, adding that 'a great atmosphere is created, especially at the Ontinyent Campus, which is physically more distant, where the response is very warm'

The UV Welcome session is an initiative promoted by the Student Council Branch organised by the SeDi - Information and Promotion Service. From 2021, when the new event model was launched, which involved more the university community and participative, has became an essential meeting point of start of each academic year for university students, especially for first-year students, who may obtain important information on different activities that complement university experience.
