FileSender is a web service accessible for full use to all users of the RedIRIS Community, which allows large files to be exchanged, which cannot be sent as email attachments. The only requirement is that the institution is integrated into the RedIRIS identity federation service, SIR, as in the case of the University of Valencia. FileSender also allows you to send invitations to external users who do not have SIR, so anyone can use it if we send them an invitation ourselves.
What does FILESENDER allow us to do?
- Allows you to transfer one or more files up to 100GB
- Automatic deletion of shared files after 30 days
- Allows you to send invitations to external users so that they can send you large files
- User panel to control transfers and invitations
- File transfer and download reports. Includes trace audit.
- Allows multiple recipients, up to 100 email addresses, in a single shipment
- Allows you to set "expiry" to sent files, as well as "invitations" to external users. Maximum of 30 days.
- Confidentiality of information guaranteed in the RedIRIS cloud
