Enrico Oliveri, the secretary of the principal opposition party loose supporters and he goes into crisis. After being heavily criticized during a speech he relinquishes his duties and responsibilities, and he shelters in France, at the house of a friend. The assistant to overcoming the problem substitutes him for his twin brother, a bipolar patient who just recently left the psychiatric hospital. The experiment proves to be a success because the electorate recovers the trust in (the false) Enrico.
