The prestigious creator Roser Capdevila will participate the Tuesday 20 of October at 12:00 at the Reading and Writing Room with a conference titled: “Drawing as a teaching weapon”. The conference will take place at the PB-04 room of the Faculty of Teacher Training within the frame of the I Weeks of Complementary Activities of this year of the faculty.

Roser Capdevila has been awarded with several prices, among we highlight: the Serra d’Or in 1982 and 1983; the Premio d’Il·lustració de la Generalitat de Catalunya in 1984; the Premio Nacional del audiovisual in 1999, the Premio de la comunicación Àngel Bronze in 2001. the Premi a la Dona Emprendedora de Fidem in 2002 and the price of the Fundació ODAME in 2004, the Creu de Sant Jordi in 2004, the Medalla d’Or de la Ciutat on the artistic merit awarded by the Barcelona City Council in 2006, the Medalla de Oro de las Bellas Artes of the Ministry of Culture in 2009 and the Medalla d’honor of the Catalan Parliament.

Mostly known for her creation of The Triplets, with books of this saga published in France, Argentina, Germany, Great Britain, United States, Finland, Sweden, Japan, Greece, Iceland and Turkey translated into 35 languages. As well as the cartoon, equally popular, televised in 158 countries.
