On 20, 21 and 22 October 2026, the National Conference "Administrative Mediation as an Instrument for the Development of Good Administration in Valencian Self-Government" will take place, organised by the University Institute of Patrimonial Law of the Universitat de València (PATRIMONIUM).
This congress of the Institute of Patrimonial Law PATRIMONIUM is held in collaboration with the UV Chair for the Culture of Mediation, the centre CEUTA (Centre for Urban, Territorial and Environmental Studies 'Pablo Olavide'), and with funding from the Conselleria of Justice, Transparency and Participation of the Generalitat Valenciana.
The event, held in hybrid format (in-person and online), will take place in Room 3P12 of the Departmental Building of Law at the Faculty of Law and will bring together specialists in Administrative Law and mediation from different universities and institutions to examine the role of administrative mediation in the development of good administration within Valencian self-government.
The programme is spread over three days, with sessions devoted to the legal framework of administrative mediation, its application in different sectoral areas (public service, administrative liability, urban planning, housing and the environment) and its development at the different levels of self-government, including the involvement of the Síndics de Greuges (regional ombudsmen). The final day will include the public defence of accepted papers.

Registration is free of charge and can be completed through the form. People registered for the online format will receive the access links to the sessions directly.
Papers
The congress also opens a call for papers, with a maximum length of 10 pages. The submission deadline is 18 October 2026, with the final text to be submitted before 2 November 2026. Papers must be sent by email to ana.olivares@uv.es and francisco.bosch-hernandez@uv.es.
Accepted papers will be published in open access in the Revista Iberoamericana de Medios Adecuados de Solución de Conflictos en Derecho Público, editorial Colex.
