The Extraordinary Formative Projects in Primary and Secondary Education Centres Awards took place at the assembly hall of the Office of the Principal of the University of Valencia on 2 December. These awards are driven by the AIMPLAS-UV and they fall within the framework of the 8th Dialogue for Social Responsibility.

The jury -formed by Prof María Dolores Cubells, Prof Carlos Cómez and Prof María Desamparados Hernaiz, all of whom are associate lecturers of the University of Valencia and involved in the field of secondary education- evaluated the presented proposals.

The award of 1000 euros was granted to the “Oficina Verda” project from the IES Vall de la Safor centre, coordinated by María Cristina Sendra Pérez and Paula F. Canet Castellà. The initiative was recognised by its commitment to environment education, by the active participation from its students and the multidisciplinary integration of sustainability values in a school setting.

With this call, the AIMPLAS-UV Chair confirms its commitment to promoting education projects that encourage social responsibility, innovation and sustainability in the first stages of education.
