From the Chair for the Valencian Public System of Social Services it was taught the training in October and November titled “Quality Management as a Tool for Evaluation and Improvement in Social Services”.

This course, taught by the Doctor Laura Esteban, offered the participants an approximation of diverse essential aspects of the quality management, from the planning strategy until the result evaluation, throughout its 20-hour duration.

The course content covered a wide range of topics, from the basic concepts of quality management until the presentation of practical tools designed to improve the social services. Among the addressed topic we find the strategic planning, the participation of groups of interest, the process management and indicator monitoring.

At the end of the training, a survey was done addressed to the participants with the aim to evaluate their grade of satisfaction, the fulfilment of expectations and the achievement of the course. The obtained results showed high levels of satisfaction and a positive evaluation in many aspects of the training programme.
