The Valencian producer, responsible for films such as Alcarràs and O Corno, holds the closing session of the 2023-2024 edition.

María Zamora, recently recognized with the 2024 National Film Award for her career, shared her knowledge and experiences with the Master's students during the closing session.

With a consolidated track record, the Valencian producer is responsible for some of the most successful films in recent Spanish and European cinema, such as Alcarràs (2022), Carla Simon's film, with which she won the Golden Bear at the Berlinale, was nominated for Best Film and Best Screenplay at the European Film Awards and was selected by Spain as a representative at the Oscars. She was also the producer of Estiu 1993 (2017), Simon's acclaimed feature debut.

Likewise, María Zamora, through her company Elastica Films, is the producer of O Corno (2023), by Jaione Camborda, which won the Golden Shell at the Zinemaldia (San Sebastián Festival) 2023, and Creatura (2023), by Elena Martín, which won the award for Best European Film at the Fifteenth Directors' Competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023 and 6 Gaudí Awards, including Best Film, at the 2024 ceremony.

All of these works stand out for their extraordinary sensitivity and their own perspective, characteristics of the cinema produced by Zamora, who is currently committed to delving into producing for platforms and other formats. Her international career, with co-productions in several countries, confirms her as one of the most recognized professionals in current Valencian, Spanish and European cinema.

The Valencian producer also has a special connection with the University of Valencia, where it studied Business Administration and Management (ADE) and later the Master in Audiovisual Production Management, a now extinct title that was the embryo of the current Master in Contents and Audiovisual Formats, and which was directed by Miquel Francés.
