It has developed his professional activity in television, radio and agencies of advertising for different companies. And it has developed his labor life in the areas of production and accomplishment. It possesses wide educational experience and of management in the university area. In his scientific activity stands out the participation in 5 projects of Investigation of the Department of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness, 1 European Project and 5 internal projects of different universities. His scientific production and lines of investigation approached centre on questions of kind, stereotypes, advertising, cientific communication and education innovation. At present it is educational in the Universitat of Valencia in the University master in Contents and Audio-visual Formats and in the Degree of Audio-visual Communication and is the coordinator of external practice in enterprise. Maria Iranzo-Cabrera holds a degree in Journalism (2005, Extraordinary Prize and End of Degree National Award) and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Communication (2014, Extraordinary Prize) from the University of Valencia. She currently works as Associate Professor of Journalism, teaching the subject Multimedia Journalism and tutors Final Degree Projects, especially linked to the audiovisual and multimedia modality. Iranzo-Cabrera is also a member of Master in New Journalism, Political Communication and Knowledge Society teaching team as a specialist in journalism and gender. Since September 2022, she has been the coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and head of the Teaching Unit. In terms of research, her thesis is framed in satirical journalism. La revista satírica El Papus (1973-1987). Contrapoder comunicativo en la Transición política española. El tratamiento informativo crítico y popular de la Transición española analyses the contribution of this political humour weekly to the perception of the transition to democracy in Spain. The research, carried out within the Gricohusa R&D group, has been recognised with the 1st International Doctoral Research Prize of the Association of Communication Historians and the Lorenzo Gomis Prize (runner-up). As a result of this work, he has published the monograph El Papus (1973-1987). Contrapoder informativo en la Transición española (2023). Currently, as a member of the R&D group Mediaflows, her lines of research are in the field of journalistic quality, self-regulation and gender perspective, as well as in the study of feminist cyberactivism. In this regard, she has published in indexed scientific journals and attended national and international conferences. As for her experience as a journalist, Maria has 16 years working as a reporter in regional and national media (Europa Press, Antena 3 TV, Radiotelevisión Valenciana, Tele5, Cuatro, Valencia Plaza). She has also worked as a social media strategist and community manager for various brands. She has been responsible for communication at the University of Valencia Science Park Foundation. |

Silvia Guillamón Carrasco holds a PhD in Audiovisual Communication (Extraordinary Award, 2014), a Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication and in Hispanic Philology, and a Master's degree in Language Sciences and Human Relations. She is an Associate Professor of Audiovisual Communication at the University of Valencia. She has taught at the International University of Valencia and the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) and has been a visiting researcher at UCSC (University of California, Santa Cruz), UMASS (University of Massachusetts, Amherst), Università di Bologna (Italy), Leipzig Universität (Germany), Universidad Nacional del Litoral (Santa Fe, Argentina), and Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Professor Dr. Sebastián Sánchez-Castillo. He has a doctorate in Communication Sciences from the University of Valencia, where he is currently a Professor in the Department of Language Theory and Communication Sciences. Graduate in Audiovisual Communication and Art History. He is ready to mentoring and directing Doctoral Theses on Audiovisual Communication. His lines of research include: • Audiovisual production and new formats • The study of social discourses and information flows of disability in digital media. • The analysis of audiovisual publications on political communication. • Lines of research on Transmedia, structure of the audiovisual system, television production, media, etc. He is specialized in statistical processes in communication research (bivariate, bivariate analysis, regressions, meta-analysis, etc.) He is Principal Investigator of the R&D Project “Identification of the socio-health needs of patients with rare diseases: processing of the communicative flow in social networks”, a project financed by the Department of Education, Universities and Employment of the Generalitat Valenciana. (CIAICO/2022/188). He has published more than 130 publications in national and international journals, of which 30 articles are indexed in Q1 of the JCR and SJR. Senior Lecturer in Media Studies at the University of Valencia (Spain). He has been researching the history of cinema and the political effects of popular culture while his main teaching interests focus on documentary film, Spanish film, popular music and audio-visual translation. He also served as a research fellow and a visiting professor in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. He coordinated the Master’s Degree in Interculturality, Communication and European Studies at the University of Valencia and the Marie-Curie research projects “Cultural narratives of crisis and renewal” and "Archives in transition. Collective memories and subaltern uses" at the same institution. He has published many articles dedicated to cinema and music in various international journals. He has also authored books such as “Frank Zappa en el infierno. El rock como movilización para la disidencia política” (Madrid, Biblioteca Nueva, 2006) “Madrid. She has been a Visiting Instructor of Spanish at Longwood College, VA (EEUU) (1998-99), currently Longwood University. Since 1999 she teaches at University of Valencia (UV). She has taught undergraduated and graduated courses in Audiovisual Communication, undergraduated courses in Journalism and in Multimedia Engineering at University of Valencia, undergraduated courses at Longwood College, and graduated courses at its headquarters in Mérida (Venezuela) and at University of Oriente at Santiago de Cuba. She has also taught Spanish Cinema, among others classes, in Spanish and English, in several programs of Spanish for USA students (UVA, ISA, UNC and ISU) offered by the International Relations and Cooperation Service at University of Valencia (1990-2017). Her research lines are the relations between cinema and tourism, and digital communication. Regardingt the first one, she is co-PI of the international research project Qualitative and quantitative analysis of tourism-inducing factors in audiovisual fiction and their effects on audiences and potential tourists, ref. PID2020-112668GB-I00, funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN) of the Spanish Government, at University of Valencia, together with Jorge Nieto Ferrando (Universitat de Lleida). She is the director of the international research team CITur (Cinema, Imaginary and Tourism) at University of Valencia which is a pioneer in Spain regarding the academic research on the relations between cinema and tourism. Vanessa Roger Monzó holds a PhD in Audiovisual Communication (2010) from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. She holds a degree in Information Sciences - Visual and Auditory Image - (2000), with an Extraordinary Award; in Journalism (2005) and in Advertising and Public Relations (2015). For more than 20 years she has developed her professional activity in various media and as a consultant in the area of marketing and communication. RTVV (2000-2014) concentrates most of her professional experience on news spaces, programs and broadcasts. Her teaching work began in 2008 at the Valencia campus of ESIC Business & Marketing School in the areas of Undergraduate and Postgraduate. She subsequently also held the functions of Head of Media Relations, various academic management positions and was IP of the Society, Digital Economy and Sustainable Development (SEDDeS) research group. She also taught for eight years in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate areas of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), participating in teaching projects, as well as in activities for the transfer of service provision (article 83, LOU). Her lines of research focus on the analysis of social discourse in the media, sustainable development and the impact of Artificial Intelligence on communication and higher education. Since 2015 she has been part of the ScienceFlows research team, participating in various national projects (ESTENAS, ESMODA ECO and CONFIDES), as well as the European COALESCE project. She is currently a lecturer and researcher at the University of Valencia, where she coordinates the PIEE IAcom (Artificial Intelligence in Communication) whose second edition has been funded with 1,500 euros. She has carried out stays as a visiting researcher at the Universidade da Beira Interior on AI in Higher Education. In 2020 she was recognized as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and has a six-year research period. Degree in Information Sciences from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Doctor in Audiovisual Communication from the Universitat de València (UVEG) - (Extraordinary Doctorate Award, 2006). Currently professor of Audiovisual Communication and Publicity of the Universitat de València since 2012. Previously, associate professor of the same degree between 1995 and 2012. He teaches the subjects of "Ideation and television production" and "Television reporting". He also teaches in the Master's Degree in Content Production and Audiovisual Formats at the UV. Since 2010 he has been teaching the television module in the Postgraduate course in Scientific Journalism at UNED and the Master's Degree in Comprehensive Corporate Communication at Ramon Llull University since 2017. In addition, journalist-editor of staff in the area of news of the Ràdio-Televisió Pública Valenciana-Canal 9 during the years 1993-2012, with the accomplishment of works of writing, edition, script and production of news, reports and documentaries, as well as in the production of debate programs and documentary programming. Previously, carrying out different activities in the press (La Vanguardia, El Temps, Mediterráneo-delegation Valencia) and radio (Ràdio 9). Correspondent in Valencia of the newspapers El Observador de la actualidad, Diari de Barcelona and El Mundo-cultura section. His main lines of research focus on the analysis of media discourse, with special emphasis on opinion discourse in the press, the analysis of audiovisual production and political discourse on networks. Àlvar Peris Blanes (Valencia, 1976) is PHD in Media Studies (2016) and Associate Professor at the University of Valencia, where he teaches in the Degree in Audiovisual Communication and in the Official Master in Audiovisual Contents and Formats, of which he is the current Director. He is a member of the Audiovisual Council of the Valencian Community (CACV) since July 2021. He has been the Secretary of the Department of Language Theory and Communication Sciences of the University of Valencia from November 2018 to February 2024. His main interests as a researcher are focused on the analysis of audiovisual content and television formats, as well as on the media construction of identities, especially in the relationship between national and global or postnational identities. He is the author or co-author of numerous scientific works published in academic journals, monographs and collective books on communication, cultural studies and history. He has been a visiting professor at the Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy), Duke University (USA) and The University of Nottingham (United Kingdom). He is a member of the Research Group of the University of Valencia Mediaflows (www.mediaflows.es), which is focused on the analysis of communication processes in relation to political mobilization, activism and citizenship. Through this Group, it has been part of several R&D projects, the last of which is titled Flows of disinformation, polarization and crisis of media intermediation (PID2020-113574RB-100), and is funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Government of Spain for the period 2021-2024. The project addresses misinformation in different social areas of interest to public opinion. Peris Blanes has also participated throughout his academic career in other multidisciplinary and international research projects in the areas of communication and contemporary history financed by different public administrations. His research activity has been recognized by the CNEAI with a six-year term and he also has a five-year term of teaching. Regarding Teaching Innovation projects, it has participated in the Accelerated Academy and Teaching Innovation (ACID) projects during the 2021-2022 academic year, Podcasting to learn to offer public service information related to podiatric biomechanics and pathomechanics during the 2023-2024 academic year, and Tota llengua fa paret. A sociolinguistics podcast during the 2024-2025 academic year. From September 2017 to September 2019, he has been the coordinator of MediaUni (www.mediauni.es), the audiovisual platform of the University of Valencia, and of external internships in the Audiovisual Communication Degree, during the same period. He has also been coordinator of the Second Course of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication from 2013 to 2015. In addition, he has been a regular contributor to the magazines Caràcters and Lletres Valencianes, where he has written numerous literary reviews, and has participated in other popular ones, such as Saó. Film and television director and editor. After obtaining a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Valencia in 2000, he developed an extensive career in the industry. He took his first steps as an editor at RTVV before taking charge of his own production company, La Taca Produccions, where he directed a wide range of content, including advertising, documentaries, fiction, and web series. He completed his training in documentary filmmaking at EICTV, the International Film and TV School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. From 2013 to 2016, he worked in Ecuador, where he served as the production director for the national channel Gama TV and produced several documentaries for the production company En el Ojo Films. Upon returning to Valencia, he became the director of the university channel MediaUni at the University of Valencia and worked as a filmmaker for the university’s Audiovisual Workshop. In 2017, he embarked on a new phase as Head of Image at À Punt Mèdia. He has combined his professional work with teaching, lecturing in the Audiovisual Communication degree program at the University of Valencia and in the Master’s in Audiovisual Content and Formats. In Ecuador, he was a professor at INCINE, a prestigious film institute recognized across Latin America, and at the University of the Hemispheres. Among his most notable documentaries as a director and editor are the feature films Més enllà del mur. Cançons contra l’apartheid (2010), which won the Audience Award at the Festival Inquiet, Assaltant el paradís (2006), which received the Enderrock Award for Best Musical DVD, and Sempre al tall (2015). His short documentary Indígenes (2013) was recognized as the Best Short Film at the València Crea Festival. He has also directed other documentaries, including Cant al ras, la nit del poble (2018), Bustamante en primer pla (TVE, 2022), Fuster i la meua família (2023), and Les mans del Genovés (À Punt, 2023).
