
Miquel Francés, director of the Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Contents and Formats and the UV’s Audiovisual Workshop (TAU), has taken part in the 14th and 15th editions of TVMorfosis, carried out respectively in Colombia and Brasil.
The North University of Colombia organized on 8 and 9 August the 14th TVMorfosis edition, which regarded Technologies and audiovisual narratives for current social realities. In this forum, Miquel Francés reflected, alongside Olga Castaño (Colombia), Enrique Uribe (Colombia) y Gabriel Torres (México) about the TV interactivity as a mechanism for citizen participation:
against the passive attitude of the television viewer years ago, digital technology now allows users and media to be in contact, feeding and giving feedback to contents and opinions.
At the same time, at the sessions organised in University of Paraíba Valley (Brasil) about The reinvention of television, new media new challenges, the director of our Master’s Degree, Miquel Francés, dabated alongside Paulo Polli (Content Manager in TV Climatiempo) and Armindo Ferreira (specialist in digital media) about The distribution of audiovisual content on digital platforms. Francés reflected, among other topics, about the distribution in the Internet and the future challenges.
