The Master's Degree in Audiovisual Content concluded with a presentation of projects to professionals from the audiovisual industry, which was of an outstandingly high standard.
A new edition of the CONTD Conference brings the Master in Audiovisual Content and Formats 2023-2024 to a close. As usual, the students of this course presented their audiovisual projects in the form of a pitch to a representation of the Valencian and Spanish audiovisual industry. On this occasion, the event took place on 10 June in the Aula Magna of the Universitat de València, in the historic building of La Nave, and included a previous conference by the producer, director and screenwriter Carles Porta, author of the audiovisual series Crímenes y Tor (3Cat), Luz en la oscuridad (Movistar) and the podcast Crímenes (Catalunya Ràdio), which has become one of the international benchmarks of true crime at the moment.
The projects presented were Fetilleres, a fiction series created and developed by Thalía Fernández, Lisa María Velázquez, Juan Camilo Bedoya and Ángel Rudiez; La travesía urbana, a documentary series created and developed by Fausto Rada, Lady Bersabeth Rojas, Camilo Segura and David Ontaneda; Mamá y yo, a television format created and developed by Alba Valle, Natalia Hernández, César Descalzo and Jorge Patón; Los lugares donde hubieraiéramos podido vivir, a fiction feature film created and developed by Daniel Muñoz, Andrea Anzola, Maria Reig and Alex Sánchez; and Las sombras de la fe, a true crime miniseries created and developed by Abel Rivera, Clara Rodríguez, Sandra García and Claudia Angulo.
The students culminated this intense course with the pitching of their projects to prestigious professionals in the audiovisual industry such as Ernest Sorrentino (À Punt Mèdia), Lorena Torres (The Fly Hunter), Mila Luengo (Aire de Cine), César Martí (independent producer) and Àlvar López (The Inmigrante), who evaluated the projects and gave them valuable advice for the future. A large number of producers and directors from the audiovisual sector interested in the talent of our students were also present. These professional conversations are the first of many, and will serve to position their project within the audiovisual industry.
From the Master's we are proud of our students, who have worked very hard throughout the course to achieve projects of this quality in both content and formal invoice. Congratulations and may you have many successes in the future!
