This week, the fourteenth edition of the Master's Degree in Banking and Quantitative Finance Workshop sessions took place at Funcas' headquarters in Madrid.
In the Master Degree's annual Workshop (organised continuously since 2003), second year students must publicly defend their research paper, which is subsequently commented by an expert in the field.
Two other types of activities are also programmed. For one, the 'Business sessions", thanks to which students can establish professional links with important firms of the financial sector. Also, at least one conference is always scheduled for the final day (this year Carlos Ocaña, General Director of Funcas, gave a talk entitled "The Big Challenges for the Spanish Banking System".
In total, 17 students, accompanied by their respective tutors, presented their thesis between July 4th and 6th.
The full programme of the XIV Workshop can be viewed here.
