The aim is to encourage research work in young university students through the award of prizes for the best works.
As has been the case since 2002, University Policy General Directorate (Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport) has organised for 2016 the XV “Archimedes” University Contest: Introduction to the Scientific Research. The proposal is seeking to encourage research work in young university students through the award of prizes for the best works.
The call is addressed to Degree and Master’s Degree students, excluding the followings: finalists of the previous editions, students who are studying or have completed a doctorate programme, students who are doing their second master’s degree and those who participate through degree, engineering or architecture degrees and have equivalent previous degree or superior.
The awards are 24 cash prizes, with amounts of arounf 2.000 and 6.000€, 3 stays (two weeks) at Spanish Research Council (CSIC) research centres, 7 prizes of 2.000€ for tutors and other prizes from collaborating entities (Fundación ONCE and Fundación Vencer al Cáncer).
Interesed in participating in the XV “Archimedes” University Contest, have until 16 June at 15h to present (telematic submission) the documentation requiered via Seu Electrònica del Departament to the electronic address; in the corresponding section “Procedure and Services”.
