  • To have access to the Master’s degree in Basic and Applied Neurosciences (doctoral studies training period), under the best possible conditions, it is recommended to have completed a degree in Science (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, Pharmacy, Veterinary or suchlike), Psychology or Medicine. This recommendation is based on the previous experience of our Doctoral programme in Basic and Applied Neurosciences, which has successfully included graduates from these different backgrounds during its time span. Basically, it comes down to select those candidates who prove basic knowledge enough to understand the modules of the master’s first term and that show genuine and clear interests towards Neurosciences.
  • Those graduates who come from degrees with reduced or non-existent subjects of basic biology must previously take an additional training module to achieve an acceptable level of basic knowledge on these subjects. This module will suit the specifications of the University of Valencia and the students needs. It will be drown up by a tutor and approved by the Academic Coordinating Committee of the Master’s Degree in Basic and Applied Neurosciences. After passing this module the student can be admitted.
  • These systems and procedures for admission include, in the case of students with special educational needs resulting from disability, appropriate support and counselling services offered by the University of Valencia to assess the need for possible curricular adaptations, routes or alternative studies.
