In order to get these goals, the Master’s Degree in Business Strategy offers two alternatives

Academic pathways

The activities and the programme of the academic pathway are designed for promoting the strategic attitude of students, as well as the domain of tools, techniques and analysis of instruments, diagnosis, creativity, planning, reflection and evaluation of strategic options.

This pathway offers a deep knowledge of the different strategic options and its implications in order to develop an analytical and decision-making ability of comprehensive and open nature for a wider range of options in strategic business approaches.

The academic pathway of the Master’s Degree focuses on practice and aims to prepare the students for joining a management team or consulting services and to contribute to the development of rigorous and effective strategic approaches. To take this academic pathway the student should take the compulsorily modules (30 credits) and the modules that compose the academic pathway (30 credits). This pathway focuses on real processes and the problems of formulation, implementation and effective control of different strategies that the companies have.

 

Research Pathway

This pathway is aimed to train researchers who will be able to carry out high quality researches and in the frontier of knowledge, as well as to develop a teaching career in the best universities, both Spanish and International. For this purpose, the programme develops the skills and knowledge needed for developing innovative and relevant researches for applying rigorously the scientific method, deepening and advancing in the knowledge of current topics on management and business strategy.

The research pathway is the training phase of the Doctoral Studies in Business Management. The goal of this academic pathway is to train researchers interested in management and business strategy. This profile requires the development of compulsory modules of the Master’s Degree (30 credits) and of the modules that compose the research pathway (30 credits), they focus on the development of abilities for theoretical and methodological analysis of business management, as well as the mastering of the rigorous research processes and the knowledge of the main research trends existing in this area.
