7th Conference of the Association for the Advance of Experimental and Applied Hypnosis

On the occasion of its general assembly celebration, the Asociación para el Avance de la Hipnosis Experimental y Aplicada (AAHEA) (Association for the Advance of the Experimental and Applied Hypnosis) organises together with the Official Association of Psychology of Las Palmas, the 7th Conference ‘Hipnosis: Advances and Applications’. This event will take place on 2rd and 4th November 2017 at the headquarters of the mentioned Official Association at C/ Carvajal, 12, 35004, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The 7th Conference of AAHEA will include the participation of:

- Joseph P. Green, Ph.D., professor of psychology at The Ohio State University, Lima, EEUU. He has been the former president in two occasions of the American Psychological Association, Division 30: Society of Psychological Hypnosis. Member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis. He is a member of the editorial board of the magazine ‘The International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis’ and the ‘Psychology of Consciousness: Theory, Research, and Practice’, that will give a conference and a workshop about “Hypnosis in the tobacco addiction treatment”.

- Dr. María José Serrano Fernández, Doctor in Psychology by the University Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona, Professor in the Department of Psychology and Education of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and psychologist at Centro Alba Psicología. Furthermore, she has a degree on Clinical Hypnosis by the Universidad de Barcelona (UB), Coordinator of the Work Group on Hypnosis of the Official Association of Psychology in Cataluña and member of the executive board of AAHEA. She will give the conference “The relation between the Ericksonian hypnosis and the social cognitive theories”.
