- Analysis of material traits in old bibliographical catalogues, according to their specificity: manuscript book, incunabula and old printed book. The issues regarding support, writing, internal structure and binding, which are necessary to resolve identification, dating and localization problems of the catalogues.
- Theoretical-practical exposition of international rules on the description of the manuscript book, the incunabula and the old printed book [ISBD (A)].
- Valuing of old bibliographical catalogues as a result of specific societies and ages consequence of specific production processes in each period.

- Analysis of material traits in heritage bibliographical catalogues, according to their specificity and typological diversity. The issues regarding support, writing, internal structure and binding, which are necessary to resolve identification, dating and localization problems of the catalogues will be essentially tackled.
- Specific advanced description of heritage bibliographical catalogues.
- Valuing of old bibliographical catalogues as a result of specific societies and ages consequence of specific production processes in each period.
Preventive conservation in archives and libraries. 3 credits.
- Introduction to the measurements, techniques and procedures in preventive conservation in archives and libraries.
- Development of conservation plans and reports
- International recommendations in terms of buildings, facilities and documental circuits.
