The verification request of the doctoral studies in Dentistry is justified by the necessity of continuity with our current Official Doctoral Programme in Dentistry of the University of Valencia and with the former doctoral programme in Pathophysiology of the Stomatognathic system, which was developed in our Department of Stomatology during many years, both in its doctoral courses and in the research phase with the development of numerous doctoral theses. The adaptation of these studies to the Royal Decree 1393/2007 led to its request and after its approval, the implementation of a training period constituted by the Master’s Degree in Dental Sciences, of research nature, as well as the presentation for verification of this proposal of doctoral studies in Dentistry.
