Contemporary societies have mixed economies whose functioning cannot be understood without understanding the presence of the State. Economic activities take place in an institutional framework largely shaped by State regulation and intervention.
The demand for qualified professionals in the specific field of public evaluation is required by various entities such as international organizations, European institutions, public administrations - central, regional and local -, universities and research centers, consulting firms, research services and think tanks, social, trade union and business organizations.
The Master in Economic Policy and Public Economics offers an advanced program for the training of high-level specialists capable of assessing the possibilities and consequences of state intervention in the economy. Its content incorporates an interdisciplinary perspective that integrates the economic, political and social dimensions in the analysis and evaluation of the economic challenges of our time. Likewise, given the relevance of the current globalization process, the program attaches special importance to the economic implications of international relations.
