Training of professionals experts in Gender Studies to design and implement gender-sensitive policies and to open new fields of knowledge in the study of gender relations for the elimination of all forms of discrimination.

Interdisciplinarity within and between the subjects of the course is a key to proper training. Gender’s perspective is seen through different disciplinary fields such as law, sociology, economics, psychology, philosophy, history and health sciences, among others.

The practical implementation of the principle of cross-disciplinary gender in the formulation and implementation of socio-economic policies and the development of equality policies require the formation of skilled professionals in the applied side. The necessary theoretical reflection on gender inequality is closely linked to a reality check and an analysis of the specific practices to address these inequalities. Hence its applicability as an essential element of this Master’s degree.
