Biography | ||
Assistant Professor of the Department of Methodology of the the Behavioral Sciences of the Faculty of Psychology at the Universitat de València, of which I have been director between 2011 and 2018. My research interests have focused both on methodological aspects such as basic and applied. In the methodological, highlight the participation in the development of normative databases of fragments and stems of Spanish words (with their corresponding indicators) to be used in experimentation with tasks of verbal stimulus completion. It is also important to mention my participation in the development of short forms of different versions of some of the Wechsler scales to assess intellectual performance in both children (WISC) and adults (clinical and non clinical, WAIS). Basic research has focused on the experimentation on the functioning of different aspects of human memory (working memory, implicit memory, ...) in both normal and clinical populations. Applied research has been focused on schizophrenia patients with the aim of developing and applying programs to improve their cognition and social functioning. |
