Laura  Badenes Ribera,  with a degree in Law, in Criminology and  in Psychology, Msc degree in Advances in Investigation and Treatments in Psychopatology and Health, in Sanitary General Psychology, and in Criminology and Security, and PhD in Investigation in Psychology. Currently, she works as Associate Professor at the Department of Methodology of the Sciences of the Behaviour of the University of Valencia and is Head of the Msc. degree in Health and Social attention to Dependency of the same university. She is member of the group of investigation ARMAQoL, focused in the investigation and application of methodology advanced to the quality of life. His areas of investigation include statistical reform in Psychology, statistical cognition, meta-analysis, sexual prejudice, violence and quality of life. She has several publications in prestigious journals with high impact, such as Trauma, Violence and Abuse, Sexuality Research and Social Policy, or Psychology of Violence, among other..

Antonio Capafons-Bonet, Ph.D., is Emeritus professor (Universitat de València, Spain) and specialist in psychological treatments and hypnosis. He is, as well, Clinical Psychologist, and author of different national and international publications on various topics related to hypnosis and psychological treatments. Antonio Capafons-Bonet has been director/adviser of the Clinic of Psychology of the Universitat de València (Fundació Lluis Alcanyís) from 12-13-2016 up to 06-11-2025. He is currently researching on the evaluation and modification of attitudes towards hypnosis, on the clinical applications of the Valencia Model of Waking Hypnosis, and the psychometric properties and international adaptations of the Valencia Scales of Attitudes and Beliefs to Hypnosis, all of which he is the creator. His research and professional trajectories in the field of hypnosis have been awarded by the division 30 (Society of Psychological Hypnosis) of the American Psychological Association (2007 -scientific research- and 2011 -professional applications-). Also, he along with other authors was awarded by the American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis with the Clark Hull Prize in 2012 for the publication of the adaptation of the Valencia Scale of Beliefs and Attitudes towards Hypnosis, Client version, using an USA’s sample. Likewise, the National Evaluation Committee of the Research Activity has approved six sexennial periods of scientific research, that endorse 36 years of investigation on hypnosis and psychological treatments. He is Fellow of the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, and member of the British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis, constituent societies of the International Society of Hypnosis, and of the European Society of Hypnosis. He has been founder and currently is Head of the Psychological Hypnosis Working Group of the Official Psychology Association of the Valencian Community (Spain). He is, as well, founding member and current vice president (after 8 years being president) of the Association for the Advancement of Experimental and Applied Hypnosis. He is also founding member and has been president of the Spanish Society for the Advancement of Clinical and Health Psychology, Century XXI. He is also founding member of the Society for Interdisciplinary Placebo Studies (SIPS). Finally, he is an Honorary Member of the Association of Psychology of Las Palmas (Spain), and Honorary Member of Tri Hita Karana Research Center (THK Research Center) Bali (Indonesia).

Biography
 

Jesús Castro Calvo (PhD in Psychology, Jaume I University) is an associate professor at the University of Valencia. His research is focused on the intersection between sexuality and addictive behaviors; in particular, on the exploration of the etiopathogenesis, assessment, and treatment of compulsive sexual behavior. Besides this area of research, Jesús has also participated in studies addressing other aspects related to sexuality (e.g., HIV, sexuality in older adults, etc.) or addictive behaviors (e.g., gaming disorder, binge watching, etc.). As for his clinical experience, Jesús has been involved since 2014 in the assessment and treatment of patients with sexual disorders (mainly, compulsive sexual behavior disorder). Dr. Castro combines his research and clinical activity with multiple teaching responsibilities.

Ausiàs Cebolla i Martí, graduated in Psychology from the Universitat de València (1996) and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Valencia (2007). He currently works as a full professor in the Faculty of Psychology, attached to the Department of personality, evaluation and psychological treatment of the Universitat de València. Member of the research group IPSITEC (https://www.ipsitec.com/) since 2007. His areas of research are mindfulness and meditation (both in terms of effectiveness in interventions and research on mechanisms), virtual reality, positive psychology, and healthy lifestyles. He has participated in local, state, and international research projects. He has collaborated in multiple scientific publications in high impact journals and has participated in national and international conferences. He is especially interested in establishing bridges between meditation and positive psychology. In this line, he has co-designed the Contemplative practices-based well-being program.

Biography
 

Assistant Professor of the Department of Methodology of the the Behavioral Sciences of the Faculty of Psychology at the Universitat de València, of which I have been director between 2011 and 2018. My research interests have focused both on methodological aspects such as basic and applied. In the methodological, highlight the participation in the development of normative databases of fragments and stems of Spanish words (with their corresponding indicators) to be used in experimentation with tasks of verbal stimulus completion. It is also important to mention my participation in the development of short forms of different versions of some of the Wechsler scales to assess intellectual performance in both children (WISC) and adults (clinical and  non clinical, WAIS). Basic research has focused on the experimentation on the functioning of different aspects of human memory (working memory, implicit memory, ...) in both normal and clinical populations. Applied research has been focused on schizophrenia patients with the aim of developing and applying programs to improve their cognition and social functioning.

Laura Galiana Llinares, with a degree in Teaching in the Field of English language, with Outstanding Graduation Award (2005), degree in Psychology with Outstanding Graduation Award (2010), Msc. degree in Psychogerontology (2012) and PhD in Health and Social Attention to Dependency and Autonomy Promotion with Outstanding Graduation Award (2015). She currently works as a Professor at the Department of Methodology of the Behavioral Sciences of the University of Valencia. She is a member of the research group ARMAQoL, focused on advance research and methodology applied to quality of life. Her research areas include structural equation modeling and their application to the fields of professionals' quality of life, palliative care, and elderly, among others. She has participated in local (Biomed, Valoritza i Transfereix, Universitat de València; Fisabio, Generalitat Valenciana), national (Retos, Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia) and international research projects (GendernetPlus), both as a member of the research group and as the leader researcher. She has several publications in prestigious journals, such as Structural Equation Modeling, European Journal of Psychological Assessment, Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, Mindfulness, or Social Indicators Research.

Biography
 

Patricia Motos Sellés obtained her degree (2007) and PhD (2013) in Psychology from the University of Valencia. She is currently a Tenure-Track Lecturer in the Department of Basic Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy, University of Valencia. She is a member of the research group Psychosocial Aspects of the Addictive Process (APPrAd).

Her research focuses on gaining a deeper understanding of addictive processes, with particular emphasis on binge drinking patterns, improving their assessment and detection, and proposing evidence-based strategies for prevention and intervention. Within this field, she has participated in several national research projects, including “Development and validation of an instrument to assess binge drinking among young people”, “Design of a psychosocial intervention to address binge drinking in young people”, and “Assessment of brain damage associated with intensive alcohol consumption (binge drinking) in young people: Behavioral, neuropsychological, and psychophysiological evaluation”. Her contributions have encompassed diverse tasks such as data collection and entry, project management, interviewing, report writing, and the dissemination of scientific findings.

She has published several articles in high-impact international journals (JCR) and has presented her work at leading national and international conferences. She is currently involved in the project “Determinants underlying intensive alcohol use or binge drinking (BD) in young adults”, which aims to identify specific predictor profiles of different alcohol consumer groups, thereby enabling more precise tailoring of preventive interventions.

In parallel, she has recently initiated a new line of research on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), which addresses two main areas: first, evaluating the level of training among future professionals regarding the effects of alcohol consumption during pregnancy on the child; and second, assessing public knowledge about this issue. These findings will support the future design of social awareness initiatives grounded in empirical evidence.

Biography
 

Professor of the Department of Personality, Assessment and Psychological Tractaments, at the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy of the University of Valencia. He is a member of the PsicAP-Psychology in Primary Care (AP) research group, which has been one of the most important initiatives to evaluate the effectiveness of psychological treatments for emotional disorders in AP in Spain. This clinical assessment will be carried out in more than 22 AP centers in 8 autonomous communities, to evaluate the treatment of these disorders in AP centers with evidence-based psychological techniques. They will evaluate more than 1,700 patients, including more than 1,000 patients, they will manage to treat more than 300 patients in each group, and they will achieve a target of 200 patients in each group over 12 months, making it one of the major mental health projects carried out in the AP in Spain. It will be responsible for the comprehensive management and coordination at the state level of more than 200 researchers, between Family Doctors and Psychologists. In recent years, he has specialized in the study of the processes of emotional regulation and the relationship with stress, anxiety and depression, assuming the leadership of the line of studies in the PsicAP Project, which allows the study of the mechanisms of change in psychological therapy, but millorar-ne l'effectiveivitat i l'efficiència. In addition, it develops a line of evaluation of cost-effectiveness and cost-utility of psychological therapies within the AP field, together with other members of the PsicAP team.

In December 2020, the MAPFRE Foundation will grant, through the Competitive Regime, a Research Grant Ignacio H. Larramendi 2020 to the project: “Assessment of the Telefónica Psychological Care Program developed during the COVID-19 crisis” with the Principal Investigator, which will allow the construction of the his own research group. In 2022, a project will be granted to the 2021 call of the Ministry of Science in Innovation – Knowledge Generation Projects – which will begin at the end of 2022 focused on an effective ACA. This study is titled "Study of effectiveness and mechanisms of change in the transdiagnòstic psychological treatment for emotional disorders in primary care. A Stepped Wedge clinical assessment. Vitudes Pérez Jover, from the Miguel Hernández University, with principal investigators. In this study a new version of the PsicAP protocol to 2 AP centers in the Valencian Community (València and Alacant), with the objective of evaluating the feasibility of this PsicAP program effectiveness in real practice, with a pragmatic and effective ACA with a Stepped Wedge design (or staggered falca), which has recently been granted. CIAICO23 Project As a member of the team, a new version of this ECA, in the adolescent population, in this case with Dr. Paula Samper as a PI (CIAICO/2023/059), for an amount of 81,300 euros. The most relevant thing is that, as of 12/09/2024, the Principal Investigator has been awarded a Public Private Collaboration project (PCPP23), titled “Primary Care Digital Mental Health Ecosystem (Medical Device)” Objective Assessment and Comprehensive Psychological Care for patients with Anxiety about results and resources mitjançant úss d'Intel·ligència Artificial i Psicometria d'ultima-generation.”, for a quantity of 802,263 euros. Furthermore, he recently completed a 3-month research stay at University College London, after being awarded a José Castillejo Scholarship. This status has allowed us to obtain an Honorary Research Fellow contract from this prestigious university.

Currently, he is the Director of the Psychology Research Group in Primary Care Centers of the Valencian Community (PsiCAP-CV - GIUV2024-616).

Noemí San Miguel Segura holds a degree in Psychology from the Universitat Jaume I and a PhD in Psychopathology, Health and Neuropsychology, recipient of the Doctoral Dissertation Award. She is currently an Lecturer in Psychobiology at the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy, Universitat de València. Her research is conducted within the Social Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory (LabNSC), and her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes, as well as presented at national and international conferences. In the area of teaching, she coordinates the undergraduate course Fundamentals of Psychobiology, the Final Degree Projects in the Department of Psychobiology, and the course Updates and Advances in Biopsychosocial Approaches to Health and Disease in the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology (Ontinyent Campus). She also serves as co-principal investigator on four teaching innovation projects funded by the SFPIE and is part of the consolidated teaching innovation group ITACA-PSICOBIO at the Universitat de València.

Ana M. Tur Porcar has a PhD in Psychology and is Full Professor at the University of Valencia. Extraordinary Doctorate Award 2005. She is part of the research team of Psychological Processes and Prosocial Behavior. She is the Director of the Master in Psychology and Family Management at the University of Valencia (27st edition).  She has four six-year positions with ANECA (3 research and 1 transfer). 

Her research interest focuses on the family and personal protection and vulnerability factors in childhood and adolescence (emotional and behavioral factors, prosociality, aggressiveness, parenting, etc.), as well as entrepreneurship in adolescence.

She has published 90 articles in international and national scientific journals on research fields related with parenting and family, personal empowerment, prosocial behavior, empathy, prosocial moral development, aggression, emotional instability, etc. in international journals such as Journal of Psychology, Plos One, Nurse Education Today, Psychosocial Intervention, Personality and Individual Differences, Journal of Adolescence, International Journal of Behavioral Development, Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology, The Spanish Journal of Psychology, Psychological Report, Psicothema, Annals of Psychology, Psychology & Marketing, Quality & Quantity, or The Journal of Genetic Psychology...

She has been part of the research team of 44 R&D research projects, obtained in international, national and regional public calls (Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Science and Innovation, Department of Culture, Education and Science, Department of Social Welfare of the Generalitat Valenciana, etc.). Some of those research projects are listed as excellent (Prometheus I, Prometheus II and ISIC Network of Excellence).

She has presented 175 communications at international and national conferences held in the field of scientific psychology (Seattle, Washington, USA, Cape Town, South Africa, Brasilia, Brazil, Stockholm, Sweden, Istanbul, Turkey, Austin, Texas, USA Paris, France, Beijing, China, Milan, Italy, London, Great Britain, Amsterdam, Holland, etc.).

She has published more than 40 book chapters and books on the same topics, in national and international editorials on the education of emotions, parenting, coexistence in intercultural environments, protection and vulnerability in adoption, or gender violence.

In the management field, she has been Academic Secretary of the Faculty of Psychology of the Universitat de València, Academic Secretary of the Higher Conservatory of Dance of Valencia, Director of Educational Psychological Services of the Generalitat Valenciana and Superior Technician of the Department of Culture and Education of the Generalitat Valencia.

Biography
 

Assistant Professor at the University of Valencia (UV), where she obtained her PhD in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology. She has extensive teaching experience in Clinical and Health Psychology at undergraduate, master’s, and continuing education levels, having participated in teaching innovation projects and serving as a tutor and supervisor for students.

Her research focuses on two main areas: (1) the design and implementation of intervention programs to foster socioemotional skills across different populations, contexts, and modalities (face-to-face and online); and (2) the assessment and psychological intervention in chronic illnesses in children and adolescents. She is a member of the EMINA Research Group at UV and serves as secretary and board member of the Spanish Society of Clinical Psychology in Childhood and Adolescence (SEPCIJ).

She has collaborated on numerous national and international research projects, including Erasmus+, and maintains agreements with hospitals and foundations that enable the transfer of her research into clinical practice, particularly in providing psychological support to pediatric patients and their families.
