Laura  Badenes Ribera,  with a degree in Law, in Criminology and  in Psychology, Msc degree in Advances in Investigation and Treatments in Psychopatology and Health, in Sanitary General Psychology, and in Criminology and Security, and PhD in Investigation in Psychology. Currently, she works as Associate Professor at the Department of Methodology of the Sciences of the Behaviour of the University of Valencia and is Head of the Msc. degree in Health and Social attention to Dependency of the same university. She is member of the group of investigation ARMAQoL, focused in the investigation and application of methodology advanced to the quality of life. His areas of investigation include statistical reform in Psychology, statistical cognition, meta-analysis, sexual prejudice, violence and quality of life. She has several publications in prestigious journals with high impact, such as Trauma, Violence and Abuse, Sexuality Research and Social Policy, or Psychology of Violence, among other..

María José Cantero López is a Full Professor in the Department of Evolutionary Psychology and Education at the University of Valencia (UV) since 2001 and a member of the UV Youth Chair. She is part of the Optimum Development-GIDOP research group of the UV, and is responsible for two of its lines of research: 1) the line "Affective Bonds" focused on the study of the formation, development and loss of affective bonds , in its evaluation and in the design of interventions that promote healthy affective bonds and 2) the line on "Parenting and optimal development" whose objectives are to study basic parental skills to promote optimal development in childhood and adolescence and design optimization interventions . As a result of her research activity, she has presented numerous papers, communications and/or posters at scientific meetings, mainly of an international nature, and has published more than 40 articles in national and international impact journals. She has directed and / or participated in different projects financed in public calls, most of which are competitive projects of a national nature. Antonio Capafons Bonet, Ph.D., is full professor (Universitat de València, Spain) and director/advicer of the Clinic of Psychology of the Universitat de València (Fundació Lluis Alcanyís).  He is specialist in psychological treatments and hypnosis. He is, as well, Clinical Psychologist, and author of different national and international publications on various topics related to hypnosis and psychological treatments.

He is currently researching on the evaluation and modification of attitudes towards hypnosis, on the clinical applications of the Valencia Model of Waking Hypnosis, and the psychometric properties and international adaptations of the Valencia Scales of Attitudes and Beliefs to Hypnosis, all of which he is the creator. His research and professional trajectories in the field of hypnosis have been awarded by the division 30 (Society of Psychological Hypnosis) of the American Psychological Association (2007 -scientific research- and 2011 -professional applications-). Also, he along with other authors was awarded by the American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis with the Clark Hull Prize in 2012 for the publication of the adaptation of the Valencia Scale of Beliefs and Attitudes towards Hypnosis, Client version, using an USA’s sample. Likewise, the National Evaluation Committee of the Research Activity has approved six  sexennial periods of scientific research, that endorse 36 years of investigation on hypnosis and psychological treatments. He is Fellow of the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, and member of the British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis, constituent societies of the International Society of Hypnosis, and of the European Society of Hypnosis. He has been founder and currentrly is Head of the Psychological Hypnosis Working Group of the Official Psychology Association of the Valencian Community (Spain). He is, as well, founding member and current vice president (after 8 years being president) of the Association for the Advancement of Experimental and Applied Hypnosis. He is also founding member and has been president of the Spanish Society for the Advancement of Clinical and Health Psychology, Century XXI. He is also founding member of the Society for Interdisciplinary Placebo Studies (SIPS). Finally, he is an Honorary Member of the Association of Psychology of Las Palmas (Spain),  and Honorary Member of Tri Hita Karana Research Center (THK Research Center) Bali (Indonesia).

Biography
 

Dr. Diana Castilla is Professor at the Faculty of Psychology, in the Department of Personality, Evaluation and Psychological Treatments at the University of Valencia. She has a degree in Psychology from the University of Valencia and a doctorate from the Universitat Jaume I de Castellón (2014), where she obtained a special doctorate award. She has been a researcher with the Labpsitec research group at Universitat Jaume I (2005-2022). 

Currently she leads the resaerch group "SAEM-TIC, Mental Health Technologies", at Universitat de València.

Her main line of research is the use of Information and Communication Technologies in the field of Clinical Psychology and Health. Since 2005, she has been involved in the design, development and clinical validation of different technologies in several projects (local, national and European research projects) as well as in research contracts with both public and private entities. As a result of this activity, Dr. Castilla has 15 intellectual and industrial property registers on different technologies for psychological assessment and intervention. Among these, she is co-author and co-owner of  "Pain Monitor" APP, a validated app for telemonitoring patients with chronic pain, distinguished with awards such as "best health APP 2018" and "best APP in medicine 2019"  in Spain.

Author of numerous scientific articles, as well as book chapters. She has also been a speaker at various courses on the use of ICTs in Psychology, as well as at many national and international scientific conferences. He has been teaching in different universities (Universitat Jaume I de Castellón, Universidad de Zaragoza, Universidad de Navarra and Universidad de Valencia) since 2015, in subjects of the degree of Psychology and the Master of General Health Psychology.

Ausiàs Cebolla i Martí, graduated in Psychology from the Universitat de València (Spain) (1996) and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Valencia (2007). He currently works as assistant professor in the Faculty of Psychology, attached to the Department of personality, evaluation and psychological treatment of the Universitat de València. Member of the research group LABPSITEC (www.labpsitec.uji.es) since 2007. His areas of research are mindfulness and meditation (both in terms of effectiveness in interventions and research on mechanisms), virtual reality, positive psychology, and healthy lifestyles. He has participated in local, state, and international research projects. He has collaborated in multiple scientific publications in high impact journals and has participated in national and international conferences. He is especially interested in establishing bridges between meditation and positive psychology. In this line, he has co-designed the Contemplative practices-based well-being program.

Biography
 

Assistant Professor of the Department of Methodology of the the Behavioral Sciences of the Faculty of Psychology at the Universitat de València, of which I have been director between 2011 and 2018. My research interests have focused both on methodological aspects such as basic and applied. In the methodological, highlight the participation in the development of normative databases of fragments and stems of Spanish words (with their corresponding indicators) to be used in experimentation with tasks of verbal stimulus completion. It is also important to mention my participation in the development of short forms of different versions of some of the Wechsler scales to assess intellectual performance in both children (WISC) and adults (clinical and  non clinical, WAIS). Basic research has focused on the experimentation on the functioning of different aspects of human memory (working memory, implicit memory, ...) in both normal and clinical populations. Applied research has been focused on schizophrenia patients with the aim of developing and applying programs to improve their cognition and social functioning.

Laura Galiana Llinares, with a degree in Teaching in the Field of English language, with Outstanding Graduation Award (2005), degree in Psychology with Outstanding Graduation Award (2010), Msc. degree in Psychogerontology (2012) and PhD in Health and Social Attention to Dependency and Autonomy Promotion with Outstanding Graduation Award (2015). She currently works as a Professor at the Department of Methodology of the Behavioral Sciences of the University of Valencia. She is a member of the research group ARMAQoL, focused on advance research and methodology applied to quality of life. Her research areas include structural equation modeling and their application to the fields of professionals' quality of life, palliative care, and elderly, among others. She has participated in local (Biomed, Valoritza i Transfereix, Universitat de València; Fisabio, Generalitat Valenciana), national (Retos, Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia) and international research projects (GendernetPlus), both as a member of the research group and as the leader researcher. She has several publications in prestigious journals, such as Structural Equation Modeling, European Journal of Psychological Assessment, Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, Mindfulness, or Social Indicators Research.

Dr. Pedro R. Gil-Monte was born in Tobarra (Albacete, Sapina). He iis the Director of the Group of Psychosocial Research on Organizational Behaviour (Unidad de Investigación Psicosocial de la Conducta Organizacional) (UNIPSICO) at University of Valencia, Spain. Currently he is Full Professor of Social and Organizational Psychology in the Department of Social Psychology at that university. He is an active research in the field of Occupational Health Psychology with over two hundred publications including scientific articles, chapters and books. Dr. Gil-Monte has developed the “Spanish Burnout Inventory” (SBI) to evaluate the levels of job burnout and the “UNIPSICO Questionnaire” to evaluate psychosocial risks at work and their consequences on workers health. Dr. Gil-Monte actively participates in research projects granted by public funds (Spanish Government), and as external adviser in education –e.g., universities- health organizations –e.g, hospitals- and companies working in other economic sectors. He serves as member of the editorial board of national and international journals of Psychology, Psychiatry, Public Health, Public Environmental Occupational Health, Management and Public Administration. He is a member of national and international scientific associations such as American Psychological Association (APA), European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology (EA-OHP), European Association on Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP), Society for Occupational Health Psychology (SOHP), International Coaching and Leadership Association (ICLA), Spanish Scientific Association of Social Psychology (SCEPS), Valencian Society of Psychology (SVP), Academic Division of the Spanish Society of Psychology, Researchers Net on Psychosocial Factors at Work (RIFAPT A.C, Mexico). Awards and distinctions: Government of Jalisco (Mexico, 2008), which recognizes his collaboration to evaluate psychosocial risks in prison employees. RIFAPT (2010), for his contributions to the development of occupational mental health in Latin America. Fidélitas University (Costa Rica, 2010), which recognizes his contributions to Psychology. Chilean Society of Work and Organizational Psychology (SCHIPTO, 2016), recognizing his relevant contributions and research in Work and Organizational Psychology. In addition, as Director of UNIPSICO Dr. Gil-Monte has been awarded with the “Distinction 2014 to the development of researches on occupational risks prevention (Generalitat Valenciana, government of the autonomous community of Valencia). Subsequently, I complimented my academic training with the Master’s Degree in Developments in Research and Treatment in Psychopathology and Health and the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology from the UV. In July 2018, I obtained my doctorate with the qualification of Excellent Cum Laude, with International Mention.

Currently, I am a Professor Assistant at the Department of personality, evaluation and psychological treatment of the Universitat de València. Member of the research group LABPSITEC (https://labpsitec.blogs.uv.es/) since 2012. Moreover, I am a research member of the network of excellence groups CIBERobn "Physiopathology of Obesity and Nutrition" (CB06/03/0052) (Instituto de Salud Carlos III).

My research line is framed within the experimental psychopathology and the study of emotional and cognitive processes in psychological problems, promotion of healthy life styles, and evaluation and treatment through Information and Communication Technologies.

Biography
 

Alfonso Pitarque, born in Alcaniz (Teruel), graduate in Psychology (University of Valencia, 1984) and PhD in Experimental Psychology (University of Valencia, 1987). I currently work as Assistant Professor in the Department of Methodology at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Valencia, Spain.

My research career has always focused on experimentation in human memory and healthy and pathological aging (see publications). From 1986 to 2013 (during ten consecutive research projects) I was a full-time researcher of the research team led by Prof. Salvador Algarabel in the Experimental Psychology lab of the University of Valencia. During the 2014-2016 and 2017-2019 trienniums I was the full-time main researcher of the research projects PSI2013-43533-R and PSI2016-77405-R funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. During the 2020-2022 triennium I was a full-time researcher of the research project PID2109-103956RB-I00 funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation directed by Prof. Dr. Juan Carlos Meléndez. I am currently a full-time researcher in the research project PID2022-136798OB-I00 funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation for the three-year period 2023-2025 and directed by Prof. Dr. Juan Carlos Meléndez.

I have published 50 experimental articles about human memory and healthy or pathological aging in journals with impact factor in Web of Science (see publications), such as Neuropsychology (Q1), Neuropsychology (Q1), Psicothema (Q1), Aging, Neuropsychology and Cognition (Q2), Consciousness and Cognition (Q2), Scandinavian Journal of Psychology (Q2), Memory (Q2), European Journal of Cognitive Psychology (Q3), The Journal of General Psychology (Q3), etc.

From 1990 to 2017, I was the editorial coordinator, secretary and associate editor of the journal Psicologica (https://psicologicajournal.com) with an impact factor in the JCR-SSCI of Web of Science since 2007 (section: Psychology, Experimental). Currently, Psicologica is the official journal of the Spanish Society of Experimental Psychology (SEPEX: https://websepex.com).

From 2006 to 2010 I was the secretary of the Spanish Society of Experimental Psychology (SEPEX: https://websepex.com).

I have positively evaluated 6 teaching quinquennia (the last for the period 2016-2020) and 5 six-year terms of research by the Spanish Commission to Evaluate the Research Activity (the last for the period 2016-2021).

Outside of my job, I am passionate about mountain biking, travel, and literature.

Biography
 

Juan Carlos Ruiz is Associate Professor in the Department of Methodology of the Behavioral Sciences at the University of Valencia. He teaches Research Methods in undergraduate degree studies, in the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology and in the Master's Degree in Specialization in Logopedic Intervention. He also teaches in the Doctorate Programme in Clinical and Health Psychology.

   He is the director of the research group "Psychological assessment and intervention in cognition in mental disorder" (TMEIC) and his research activity focuses on the study of cognitive deficits in schizophrenia, the optimization of stimuli material for the study of implicit memory in these patients, and in the development of reduced forms of the WAIS for it's use in schizophrenia. He publishes in journals such as Behavior Research Methods, Frontiers in Psychology and Psychiatry Research. Here you can find some of his publications Research ID.

Biography
 

Ana M. Tur Porcar is a doctor in Psychology, Professor of the Department of Basic Psychology at the University of Valencia. He is part of the research unit Psychological Ana M. Tur Porcar has a PhD in Psychology and is Professor of the Department of Basic Psychology at the University of Valencia. She is part of the research team of Psychological Processes and Prosocial Behavior. She is the Director of the Master in Psychology and Family Management at the University of Valencia (22st edition).

Her research interest focuses on personal protection and vulnerability factors in childhood and adolescence (emotional and behavioral factors, prosociality, aggressiveness, parenting, etc.), as well as entrepreneurship in adolescence.

She has published 70 articles in international and national scientific journals on research fields related with parenting and family, personal empowerment, prosocial behavior, empathy, prosocial moral development, aggression, emotional instability, etc. in international journals such as Personality and Individual Differences, Journal of Adolescence, International Journal of Behavioral Development, Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology, The Spanish Journal of Psychology, Psychological Report, Psicothema, Annals of Psychology, Psychology & Marketing, Quality & Quantity, or The Journal of Genetic Psychology.

She has been part of the research team of 39 R&D research projects, obtained in international, national and regional public calls (Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Science and Innovation, Department of Culture, Education and Science, Department of Social Welfare of the Generalitat Valenciana, etc.). Some of those research projects are listed as excellent (Prometheus I, Prometheus II and ISIC Network of Excellence).

She has presented 166 communications at international and national conferences held in the field of scientific psychology (Seattle, Washington, USA, Cape Town, South Africa, Brasilia, Brazil, Stockholm, Sweden, Istanbul, Turkey, Austin, Texas, USA Paris, France, Beijing, China, Milan, Italy, London, Great Britain, Amsterdam, Holland, etc.).

She has published more than 40 book chapters and books on the same topics, in national and international editorials on the education of emotions, parenting, coexistence in intercultural environments, protection and vulnerability in adoption, or gender violence.

In the management field, she has been Academic Secretary of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Valencia, Academic Secretary of the Higher Conservatory of Dance of Valencia, Director of Educational Psychological Services of the Generalitat Valenciana and Superior Technician of the Department of Culture and Education of the Generalitat Valencia.
